Mark Bouslog, Pastor-Teacher

Pastor Mark turned from his sins and trusted Christ as his Savior as a 9-year old and was baptized by immersion. God directed him in his teen years to pursue ministry-related activities, and he had the privilege of travelling for two summers with an evangelist. It was during that time that God clearly called Pastor Mark to be a pastor. Upon graduating from high school, God directed him to train for the ministry at Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, North Carolina. God later provided an opportunity for him to travel as staff evangelist with a traveling group representing Maranatha Baptist Bible College. God has graciously allowed him to serve as a pastor for over 13 years both in North Carolina and in Illinois. He is also currently pursuing an advanced degree at Maranatha Baptist Graduate School in Watertown, Wisconsin. He also serves on the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship International Executive Board and regularly speaks at their Caribbean Regional Fellowship meetings.

Pastor Bouslog’s wife of 15 years, Lorraine, trusted Christ as her Savior in 1985, after which she also was baptized by immersion. God directed her to pursue ministry preparation, and she attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College, earning a Bachelor in Secondary Education with a minor in Home Economics. She enjoys serving the Lord through teaching, singing, and playing the piano.

The Bouslogs have two children—Ashtyn and Stephen. Ashtyn, their 11-year old daughter, trusted Christ at the age of 10 and was baptized shortly thereafter. She presently enjoys her studies in the fifth grade and also singing in the children’s choir at church. Stephen is their 3-year old son, and they pray continually for his salvation and submission to God’s leading.
