Arlington is a Christ-centered, culturally diverse community of believers brought together by God's grace to worship, serve, and share His love. For over 81 years, the Good News of Jesus Christ has been faithfully proclaimed from this ministry, and that mission remains at the heart of all we do. We are committed to reaching the lost with the Gospel and equipping believers to grow in their faith through biblical teaching, fellowship, and service.

Arlington Baptist Church was founded in 1945 in Baltimore's Pimlico community. In 1947, Pastor Peter Bisset began his ministry in the church's original parsonage, affectionately known as the "little white house." As God blessed and expanded the ministry, the congregation eventually relocated to its present campus on Rolling Road.

Planning for the new campus began in 1964 with the development of architectural plans and approval from Baltimore County. Construction commenced in 1965, and the first phase, the main sanctuary, was dedicated in July 1968. In the years that followed, the campus continued to grow with the addition of a chapel, multipurpose facilities, school buildings, an annex, residential housing, a nursing home, and a cemetery, all reflecting God's provision and the church's commitment to serving both its congregation and community.

In 1995, Pastor Bisset was called home to be with the Lord after nearly five decades of faithful ministry. Since then, several godly men have served as senior pastor. In March 2014, Dr. Mark Campbell became Arlington's pastor, and under his leadership, the church continues to grow in its mission of reaching people with the Gospel and equipping believers to follow Christ.

For more than 81 years, Arlington Baptist Church has faithfully proclaimed the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. While methods may change, our message remains the same: the hope of salvation through Christ alone. We remain committed to reaching the lost, strengthening believers, and glorifying God through every aspect of our ministry until the Lord returns.
